History : The Property was bought by a wine lover, Monsieur Giraud, who decided to give back to this Clos its reputation. After his acquisition, he invested in the cuverie, barrels, cask, etc. and a new Chef de Cave Philippe Charlopin. Since that Emmanuel replaced him and the Castle continues his development. The Château de Pommard is essentially made of a Clos in low part of the village, it is unique because of that. Sub divised in 6 « sous clos » - the subsoil is different - they can adjust the work in the vineyards, the harvest and the vinification.
The top value of the domaine : Its unique character, managed as a Bordeaux Property, the Grand Vin du Château de Pommard with the oldest vineyards, and the simple Château de Pommard with the youngest. They are passionate about sculpture and painting so they have made the Château become an important place of exhibition
A few woods : A single CLOS, the Grand Vin is the association of the 6 sub soils from the Clos with only the "old vines".
